Like the perfect pass, some things just fall right in to your hands. When Western High School in Anaheim, CA came to NJS looking for uniforms for their women’s flag football team, it wasn’t just another order — it was a first women's flag football kit. And the timing couldn’t be more fitting.

Flag football is on the rise. Not just at the high school level — it’s heading to the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. The sport is growing, the talent is real, and the girls suiting up under the Friday night lights deserve to look the part. 

Team sent us a render and we had to quickly come up with a production ready design. We built two color ways for the Western Warriors: a white home jersey with a subtle floral sublimated pattern and a full blue alternate — both featuring the WESTERN word mark in bold varsity lettering with the iconic W crest. Cut and sewn, game-ready, NJS through and through.

Watching the team run routes and compete in these sets confirmed everything. This is exactly the kind of work we’re here to do — show up for everyday players at every level, in every sport. NJS has always been rooted in hoops, but the game is bigger than that. Football, soccer, flag — if there’s a field and a team that needs to represent, we’re in.

As we build toward 2027 and expand into football full-time, this partnership with Western High is the kind of moment that sets the tone. To the Western Warriors — y’all looked incredible out there. This one meant something to us too.
